We are Susan Beal and David Pearson, passionate localvores and founding members of the Walloomsac Farmers’ Market in Bennington. We are owners and stewards of Shadowbrook Farm, which has been in Susan’s family for over 100 years. David also grew up on a farm, near Niagara Falls, where his father grew apples, pears, and quinces. Our daughter, Claire Bennet, contributed greatly to this website.
